Looking at the shadow of the tree it would appear that this shot was taken earlier / later in the day. It may be a bit over exposed but overall I like the shot alot. I'm a sucker for covered bridges I guess. What might help is if you drop back on the highlights a bit and push up the saturation a little. Thanks for posting.

Beautiful shot ! You've managed to combine two of my favorite subjects. Fall colors and sailboats. Almost makes me want to move to Vermont, or at least spend a few minutes on that picnic table.
