<p>I just got a Minox ECX and I tried to put a PX27 battery in it but the battery is too fat. The cover won't slide shut. It came with two CR-1/3 N batteries that fit fine. Has anyone else had this problem with an ECX?</p>

<p>My EC exposes when I open it, does anyone know what the problem is? I put in a new battery but that didn't solve the problem. Thanks for any info.</p>

<p>I would have to say that the OED has the pronunciation wrong. I'm Latvian and the "i" has always been pronounced as in the word "minute".</p>

<p>I have two Riga Minoxes, although one's in pieces, a IIIS, a C and an EC. I had a Silver DSC, actually four of them, but all four had to be returned because of different problems with each one. I'm hoping Minox will come out with a newer, improved model. I also have two developing tanks, a Minox enlarger and a homemade film slitter.</p>

<p>I bought four 357 button cell batteries at Batteries Plus. They shrinkwrapped them for me for free. They're a little tight but they work fine.</p>
