Beautiful capture of a very scenic location. The only thing I would change would be to level the image, as it seems to be slightly leaning to the right.

Grand view of some grand and unusual scenery. Good placement and framing of the subject. If your photo editing software has tools to do it with, you'll want to remove the dust specks in the sky. Beautiful shot, though.

Lovely model, and great natural expression. The composition concentrates attention on the eye, nose, and mouth, and I can happily lose myself there easily enough, but the nice flowing lines of the hair also frame the face and give movement to the image.

Thanks, Janelli. This was desaturated and then sepia toned in Photoshop.

Yes, I love it, too, for many of the reasons mentioned by others. I was thinking that it might have helped if you could have moved to the left just a little when you took the picture, so as not to have hidden from view so much of the oldest sister. Of course, I realize that such a thing might not have been possible at the time for many reasons. Also, it might help if you burned the blown out highligts in the upper left corner.

There are many kinds of good light, and this is a subtley beautiful light that illuminates that wonderful face and the life behind it, and what makes it great light is whatever strong light source that is making those eyes shine like that.
You really got 3/3s for this? Inexplicable. I truly don't understand some of the raters here.

Was the motion effect created by zooming or by a long exposure? The lines of motion are so straight that zooming must have been involved, I would think. Anyway, however it was done, the result is effective.

Thanks, Keith, and Shawn as well. This was an early morning shot, and due to the miracle of digital technology, I can report that the shutter speed was 6.2 seconds.

Spectacular and beautiful. You could wait a lifetime for the chance to take such a shot.

Thanks, everyone. It's good to hear from you all.
Sean, this was taken with a Canon 5D and a 17-40 L lens.
