Interesting image but the lighting could be improved -- either more balanced or more one-sided to achieve a dramatic effect. As it is, the photo simply looks underexposed.

Beautiful woman but the focus seems a little too soft. One of the best pieces of advice I ever received was to focus on the eyes -- the rest of the face will take care of it self. Also, you may want to consider increasing the contrast to increase the dramatic effect.

Frank, please don't take offense if this little girl is related to you but I find this image a little dull on my monitor. The skin tones don't look natural and the lighting is less than flattering. Did you use a flash for this?

Thanks, Mark. Glad you like film -- I'm really enjoying using vintage cameras and their excellent lenses to shoot a variety of subjects. Hoping to post some more soon using bellows and extension tubes. It doesn't hurt that she's easy on the eyes...

Interesting pose and expression from the model. I'm ambivalent about the soft lighting effect and the loss of detail on edges. But then again, it has a pleasing effect on skin tones.
