I don't want reflections

Hi anyone have any tips on photographing someone's eye ? i would like to take some good quality close up shots. I have a D3 and a vivitar 1:1 macro my main problem is getting the reflections in the eye.

<p>Hi in the days of film shooting under fluorescent light we put a magenta filter on the lens and a green filter on the flash with daylight film I'm a bit unsure with digital I'm not going to use the magenta filter but i am unsure about the camera settings. Should i just set camera to auto? and use the green filter on the flash?<br> I'm using a nikon D3 with a sb910 speed light.</p>
