The OMD EM5 mark 1 - yes, you can handhold at silly speeds; with a 28mm lens you might get some sharp pictures at 0.25-0.5 seconds handheld. I always take several at those speeds, as the IS increases the probability of, but does not guarantee, sharp shots. Focusing manual lenses - it's easy to set one of the customisable buttons to magnify part of the image, and so to use that to focus; the mark 1 does not have focus peaking. I have no idea about the EM5 mark 2.

<p>Sanford - I've only had it a couple of weeks with mostly bad weather, but I'm impressed; it's certainly sharp at mid to far distances even fairly wide open (and at 5.6-11 it's excellent). I have not seen any significant CA (even looking for it) or field curvature. There are web reports saying it has faults, which may come down to copy-to-copy variation. It focuses fast, although I'm surprised that the Fuji XE1 refuses to focus on some low contrast subjects (eg clouds) that the Olympus EM5 would cope with easily. Overall - I'm delighted with it.</p>

<p>Thanks Brian; have only recently acquired the Jupiter-11 but am seriously impressed; sharp even wide open (that pic is at f4) and nice smooth oof areas. And less than £50! Incidentally, that 10mm Samyang looks good in both tonality and sharpness (and colour).</p>
