1.
There are many profiles such as Embedded、ACR4.4、Adobe Standard、Camera Standard and other special brand camera profiles model,my question is that which profile i should take.My camera is pentax k20d,should i choice the "K20d Standard"?the default profile setting of my LR2.6 is Adobe Standard.I have tried out all the other profiles,i found the image preview was far different,i wonder which profile is the one that processing the raw data according to the original camera raw data format(DNG).

Thanks for any advice.

 2.
Thanks Greg,i have already get the data from the characteristic curve of Ektar100
The benchmark point of 18% gray is located near by (-1,1),i did not comprehend the relation between density numeric value and 18% gray before,so i can't get the individual EV range above/down 0EV.Dynamic range of any film can be figuered out by straight line part of Lux-Density curve ,but as what you have said,in the meantime, the final effect also depends on darkroom and scanner, otherwise, the whole range would not be revealed perfectly even though be exposured properly. Thanks again.

 3.
I have read some old threads in the forum, but a kind of confused, there are two different interpretations:
First point:the ltitude is equal with film dynamic range,e.g.,Ektar 100 is -1~3,if i get a numberic value from exposure meter that F16 1/250 of highlight as well as F4 1/250 of shadow ,then get to take photo with F5.6 1/250(put shadow into -1ev and highlight 3ev),details both highlight and shadow will be recorded, otherwise it's impossible to get the most delicated details according to the principle of zone exposure which is well known.
Second:the latitude of a film just represents a extension which is mainly applied by develop lab,it means the character of iso sensitivity(add/decrease)
The two concepts is absolutely different, which is correct? Thanks in advance for any advice.

 4.
When you tune clarity slider on ACR,actually the sharpness of image has been changed
sometimes i tune the clarity slider to 20~30 but the sharpness amount to 0,then to sharpen in ps with final print size.
Seriously to say,we should not to sharpen anything before final size,in addition to,someone said that there is color level loss when frequently convert the RGB to L or contrary,so i hardly use the L color space.

 5.
In my opinion, this two images above look like what were retouched based on a monochrome.
In general ,there are many ways to do it such as curve/color balance/layers blend(filling special color)/mask etc.,these tools have been understood by almost everyone of us,but i find that even more difficult thing is getting a suitable coloring by them according to your photo subject, further more, involving color aesthetics even a little talent.

 6.
Sometimes ,i use Gray card to correct the color balance,is there any diffrence between gray card and the Spyder Cube?
the real while balance is not equal with appropriate one,i still need to adjust it in Raw software. If you are an amateur prefer to serious photography, just try it.In addition, you can get numerical value of while balance according to eyes judgement from experience.
