I really like this picture. By Looking at your greate portofolio, I can say that you are a expert on "Water Drops". I saw this pic on Nikon wednesday forum too and saw that you have mention, you had to stack few photos to get this effect. Would you mind sharing your technique ?? Again, its a great photo!

Thanks for your comments. No we haven't met as I am a Sri Lankan but lives in Canada. I went for a Vist Last month and spent close to a month in Sri Lanka. Would've love to meet you there, may be next time!!

Yes, Yala is very good place to see the animals. I certainly agree with you that Sri Lanka is a beautiful country and pictures on your prtofolio really has done justice to show that natural beauty.

The lens I used was Sigma 150-500mm. I do have a picture which shows a entire creature, but I felt the more close up of him will add an exitment & shows more detail of this beautiful creature. This is not a crop and I certainly took this picture from a failr distance away (f 6.3/500mm @ 1/320 sec) as this is the biggest animal I have seen of this kind.
