Sure glad I visited PNet today. I've been trying to identify an odd looking orphan lens for months. I even posted pics on other forums with no luck. I had been searching for an inexpensive Konica Autoreflex to try the lens on as the nearest EE mention was on the Konica page.
the lens is a Soligor 28 auto wide 1:2.8 EE
Thanks for asking Lisa! I hope you get the chance to use it. And thanks PNet members - one question and the answer(s) solves mysteries.

Well, thank goodness I found a link through google on how to operate my classic vintage GE DW.58 meter here on photo.net with a link to a web page with the original instruction booklet, although the post was more helpful. Point being that I needed this information to help me (if possible) to operate my classic yet vintage Argoflex TLR for the first time and using TriX-100 on ARGUS DAY!.

Thats it DiMarzio! .... you, your hood, the bus stop, people going and coming, derelict cars the whole "what's it like living in that corner of Virginia". Norfolk: inside/out.
I've never seen Va. Beach Blvd. Show it to me. Save the touristy and fluff shots for the Sunday slide show.
Tell us your story Michael, show and tell.

Great Pictures Everyone...hope we see more. This was taken with a red "toy" camera. When pulling up on the rewind crank it snapped off breaking the plastic pop up that releases the backdoor, but managed to get it open. So I guess we can call it a disposable camera. The lens was the infamous New Color Optical Lens F.6

Inspired by Andy, Tom Collins and others, I was the lucky bidder on a camera lot which included an OM1. Wasn't sure what I was ending up with but as it turns out IT WORKS!. It's a bit beat up(matches it new owner well LOL ) as the photo shows ( missing the self timer switch)...that's okay, cause I would crack the lens if I tried a self-portrait. Definately needs some TLC and a CLA, but I was anxious to try it out. Ran a roll of Fugicolor 100 ( 12exp) through it and fell absoultely in LOVE with IT!. So I loaded a another roll of exp. Kodak Gold 200 ( 24exp) got 27pics. Okay, so now on the quest for additional lenses...OhMy is right. I was able to snag a zuiko auto-zoom 75-210 for 22.00 plus shipping. But lost out on a OM10 with a 24mm.
Here's the camera and a pic with the 50mm 1.4 on fugicolor. IMHO the fugicolor is rich.

EGADS... i did not know ee lenses came in M42. I had convinced myself due to lack of information that the orphaned ee lens in my collection only fit konica and i'm bidding on one to try the lens...i'm delirious. anybody interested in a soligor 28mm 2.8 EE odd ball looking bayonet lens? I might have one available. :)
