Another great photo. Love the lighting and the mood.
I only wish that you would let us in on how you created the great shots in your portfolio. What filters or manipulation did you do in Photoshop?
-
Great rustic shot. The overcast sky also enhances the feeling. I would have liked to have seen this photo cropped differently. Getting a bit more of the landscape with the cabin off center. Maybe with another rustic element in the foreground offset left of the cabin.
How did you create this great Sepia tone? The tones I've tried to create in Photoshop have fallen short. Did you use a filter on the camera?

Excellent photo. Sets a great mood. Colors and contrast couldn't be more well balanced.

Nice shot. Love the mood set by the colors of the sunset. However, I would have tried to focus in more on the person sitting on the rock. I would try and print the next photo with more emphasis on that person. It would really set the mood. But, you would have to sacrafice much of the forground and the right side of the photo, all of which has interest in itself. All I can say is try it.

Very nice effect. How did you compose this picture. ie: lighting. Did you use a macro lense?

Should I try an punch up the contrast in Photoshop? Any comments on
cropping?

I recropped this photo based on comments. Any more suggestions

I recropped the photo. How does it look now.

Yes I had to use a strobe light to get the items on the table viewable. I have tried several different crops and angles and liked this one best. I do have one which crops the picture at the left side of the door frame. This enhances the table and the items. However, the table is then more centered.

I took this photo on an outing to sturbridge village,MA. The re-
enactors were taking a break and placed their arms against the pub. I
cropped this photo heavily.

I took this picture of my daughter and her cousin waiting to ride on
a carousel back in 1988. I cropped out all of the people to focus on
the kids.

Love the shot, the colors really set the mood.
And thanks for giving us some of the details on your camera settings for this picture. I wish other people would let us know how they set things up or how they used photoshop.
