I think the table, on the right side, is more interesting that the black left side. Maybe another composition would be nice.

Very nice pic. Is the interior strobe lit? The sharp dark shadows change the 'feel' a bit - however the view through the door is terrific. Did you try more interior angles/light arrangements?

Yes I had to use a strobe light to get the items on the table viewable. I have tried several different crops and angles and liked this one best. I do have one which crops the picture at the left side of the door frame. This enhances the table and the items. However, the table is then more centered.

Hi Steve, I think if the strobe was to the left of the table it would match the outdoor lighting - judging from the shadow of the spade - however this in no way detracts from the attractive composition.

 

I notice that if you crop off the barrel and the table, then the focus moves from the pitcher to the criss-crossed brooms, and the outside. This really "opens up" the picture for me.

 

You did a great job on the interior lighting -- normally you get one or the other in a photo like this!

I recropped the photo. How does it look now.
