Shooting rodeo is exciting for sure but safety is also a big concern.
I shoot from inside the ring for the best shots and getting slammed against the fence you don't want to experiance more than once.
The biggst thing to learn is to anticipate the action if you see it in the frame its too late.
Also manual exposure is important.

Thanks Anthony, shooting on a video set is a dream with all the controlled lighting.
It has forced me as well to learn to shoot at 3200 iso and perfect my photoshop skills.
I can only imagine what would be like on a huge movie set.

Anthony Thanks for your comment and I agree I see what you are saying about pushing the midtones, you have a good eye, Take Care, Pete

Thanks Dan, another thing I learned in the Dominican was that everyone's white clothes were so very bright, this happens because they are washed and hung up to dry in the blazing sun which bleaches the whites.

The Dominican Republic provides funds for the school building and the teacher.
The parents are responsible for all uniforms and supplies.
School is done in shifts with grades 1-3 first thing in the morning, grades 4-8 in the
afternoon and grades 9-12 in the early evening and all taught by the same teacher.
When travelling here if you would like to do photo's bringing gifts of pencil sets ect is
most appreciated and will help you to gain access.
I shoot here at 3200 iso as to not interupt the class by using flash.

Thanks Ken for your comment and I appreciate what your saying about the broken piece in the lower part of the frame.
I did try and move over to exclude it but to me the posistion lost alot of the feeling I felt from the lady and it became too much of a portrait.
Thanks again for your time and thoughts, Take Care, Pete
