Thank you Emmanuel, Sergio and Alon for your visit, comments and encouragement. These are the heads of the figure "in making" of 10 handed deity Goddess Durga, the symbol of the "eternal feminine power" in India. The idol is hand crafted out of straw, mud and silt of the holy river, the Ganges. Upon completion, the deity will be worshiped in the forthcoming festival of Durga Puja in the month of October.
