    Holy Clones

          5

Thank you Emmanuel, Sergio and Alon for your visit, comments and encouragement. These are the heads of the figure "in making" of 10 handed deity Goddess Durga, the symbol of the "eternal feminine power" in India. The idol is hand crafted out of straw, mud and silt of the holy river, the Ganges. Upon completion, the deity will be worshiped in the forthcoming festival of Durga Puja in the month of October. You may please visit the gallery “India and Religion” in my profile for an idea.

    Dear Javed

Congratulation over this nice capture. The mystic light and its beautiful hues have created a classic atmosphere of subtle tranquility..... a sense of fulfillment prevailing in the leisurely country life.

    I like it.

    Regards.

    Sudipta.

The panoroma captures Mt. Everset (Left one) and Kanchanjungha (right

one) .... world's highest and third highest peaks respectively. The

snap was taken from Sandakphu, Darjeeling. It was the sunset time.
