1.
Looked good to me I only tried the HTML site, my only suggestion is the size of font in your menus seemed a little small for me. I think if it was a couple of sizes bigger would be better and your gallery titled "little ones" might be renamed but for the life of me I can't offer you a better suggestion other than the one you have. So I guess the point is moot.

 2.
I mostly use a Nikkor VR Zoom 55-200mm f/4-5.6 lens, this allows me to shoot across the ring from the side lines when out doors. However when I'm indoors with this one I'm not happy with its performance. I have experimented with my 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 indoors because I can get inside the horse ring and be a little closer to the jumps.

 3.
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a method of compressing time in a video. For example if I take a 5 min shot of a road I want to compress that time down to 1 min of video. I can go in and manually do a frame grab but seems a little too tedious.

 4.
Here is what I did, I googled for a MOV to AVI or WMV converter (name escapes me because I did this at my office) converted the file and then used MovieMaker that comes with windoze cost to me zip cost to my employer big $$$$$ because I spent the major portion of a day playing with it. LMAO

 5.
LCDs don't like the cold and it is possible to damage the displays, when it gets REALLY cold. -15C shouldn't have done anything, I've had my D50 out in -10C and lower weather shooting equestrian events but I kept the camera close to my body and when I could I went into a warm area.
Writing to the card could be anything from the cold contracting the plastic of the SD card preventing the contacts from mating well, to the SD card just doesn't like the cold. With out having the unit in question it is hard to diagnose any problems.
It is a popular misconception about modern electronics that they like to be really cooled. They generally like the temperatures and humidity that we like. I've seen computers come to a grinding halt when cooled below their normal operating temperature.

 6.
I'm one of those GWC's (guy's with cameras) and take pictures at equestrian events to keep from being bored (love my kid, hate her sport) BUT I only do it for the folks with the farm and then only a few select exposures. We post them on flickr and on facebook where the folks from the farm can download/ look at them. I don't give out CDs (anymore) for free and some of the barn crew wanted to get my out to an event that my daughter wasn't at. She pimped my out for a day fee of $50 there were no takers.
If you are doing it for fun my two cents is continue it for fun but if you want to start a little business then jump into to it whole hog and charge everyone. But I bet there will be few takers from your group and possibly a few bad feelings toward you.

 7.
Here is another newbie question. I take pictures of my daughter at equestrian events with my Nikon D50 and out of doors there isn't a problem. However now that it is winter she is competing indoors in an arena with a cloth domed roof and I'm feel that the colours are off and the background lighting is bright white. What I'm getting is really dark areas on the horses and well generally I feel anyway that the colour is a little off and perhaps some pixilation in the darker areas of the horses.
