Thanks Mark...Mother Nature again...it was just beginning to snow and the bride had picked up her gown and was making her way into the trees where we were planning to do the next photos, when I looked up and saw her running across the field. I just had time to get one image before she disappeared into the forest. : ) kim

Hi Mark---thank you for the kind words about this image. I had a lot of help from Mother Nature--it was just the right kind of blustery day for the mood in this image... thanks again! : ) kim

  1. Thank you Trisha, for taking the time to view my image and for the lovely comments! I too loved the shoes and thought the soft window light seemed to underscore the light and airy feeling of them and the veil. Thanks again! : ) kim

    Hi Sergey,

Very nice perspective on this image. I also like the post-production---it gives the image a slightly vintage fall flavour. : ) kim

    Hi Sergey,

This image has such a beautiful, airy feeling about it. The couple seems to be caught in a moment of connection between the two of them---well done. : ) kim

  2. Hi Pete,

This is a beautiful, sensual image. The b&w finishing is particularly wonderful, giving the gown a lovely sensual feeling that suits the clouds and the wind in her veil. The only thing I might change if it were possible is to edit out the groom(?) in the right side of the image---if there were more of him visible, it might work better to keep him in. Nonetheless, I like it very much. Thank you for sharing it. : ) kim

Everything about this image comes together for me, from the look on the woman's face, to her clothing, to her body language, to the feeling of separation I get from her which is reflected in the composition of the image. I also love the fact that her left foot is not fully planted on the ground---i.e., she is not stationary and consequently, the moment was a fleeting one. Well done! : ) kim
