Excellent shot in my oppinion ,starting from the composition , but especially the high key , the lighting ant using it cleverly ,creates a great photo! Of course ,"being there at the right moment with a working camera" is the starting point and for this I appreciate you even more! Superb tones and details of the San Giorgio Maggiore thru the morning misty light contrasting with the foreground, all these are making it for me a "Best of the Best" !

Very atmospheric and beautiful image , congratulations . I agree that the colors are a bit up : the gren grass and falled leafs especially are poping a bit too much . On such a light in autumn , these are a bit unnaturay saturated  colors. But , all in all a beautiful pic.

    All the best

An eye catcher ,at least for me .Nothing dramatic , or spectacular , bur very good composition by by the rules ,very good contrast between the dark sky and waving yellow field , beautiful fresh spring colors ,excelent use of the contrast between the lightened foreground and the shadowed background. Congratulations!

  1. One of the most beautiful images of Iasi I've seen lately ... Sorry I've discovered you just now , after your kind comment over one of my photos .Very good composition , lighting and angle .Congrats!

    Best regards, Teo

  2. Hello , Janegbert , I am glad you appreciated my suggestion. Of course , it is your image ,and it's your own right to see it in your own way (wich has it's strenghts).

The chinese say " the mountain can be climbed on a thousand paths".

Art is subjective , and it's OK .

As for Lannie's suggestion of better detail in the shadows , I prefere the image as it is , I think the strong contrast does a lot of the charm of this image. But , again, it's just me.

    Friendly yours,

    Teo
