I agree with both your comments about the tree. It is a bit busy and it would be nicer to have a whole tree on it. But it was the only shot I could make. Clouds traveled fast that day and the light was constantly changing. I focussed on this treebranche because it was the only "nice" shot that good be made at that time. If you take into considaration there were many trees in front of this one it was this shot or not(thing).
I have been there a few more evenings after but the light never reappeared.

Between the subject and the camera there was a lot of smoke from a fire! This smoke was just 1 meter away from my camera. The sun is right behind the subject. I zoomed to the subject in a way it would give a nice "figurative" look. Hoping the smoke would give it a nice extra touch. So you can say the bluring is out of some sort of artistic perspective.
But you all might be right is is to blurry after all.
I was just wondering if people on photonet liked it as much as my "real life friends" like it.
So my question about if the photo is "artistic" or not still stands. In other words: do you like it from a artistic approach and not from a technical view?
I know it is a difficult question to answer, but I think it is always a nice subject people can discuss.

Well lets say, you dont like it to much. But subject was standing still and camera did not move. Sorry!

Took this shot against the sun, behind some fine wood that was set on
fire, focus is on the person, she has, as you can see if you take a
closer look, a camera in her hand.

It looks very nice, nice contrast with light and colors. Can you tell me how you took it?

I can imagine when you make a big print of it really gives a nice perspective. I am going to try to make a photo that gives this same feeling.
I cannot find the right word for to express the perspective I mean. (As you might have guested, english is not my native language or mothertongue ;-( )
