Taken after the sun had gone down, with enough light remaining to highlight
the wonderful shapes of the Basalt rock.

Thanks Marjolein. It was taken in The Gardens of Augustus. Which is a beautiful viewing point on this side of the island. Capri is I think you'll agree, a beautiful Island. While on a boat trip around the island earlier in the day, we had had travelled through the arch in this particular outcrop of rock. Pat

Hi Ramon, I really like this image. There is a great sense of drama in it. The movement of the water, combined with the dark, rough sea and the storm cloud which hangs over the ship all work together to create a very interesting image. A well seen and composed image.
Thanks for your kind words on my images and portfolio, That people take the time to look and comment on my images means a lot to me.
Kind regards

Great image Bob. Perfect composition. It tells its own real, present day story, no words needed. Good on you sailer boy! Be yourself, you cannot be anyone else! Love it . Pat

The Blue Grotto in Capri is a fascinating, and as the image indicates, a
very popular attraction. Despite the warm, calm sunny day, the sea here
was quite choppy. The boatmen, like the main character in the photo
have great banter and conversation with one another. While for some
unfortunate travellers with sensitive tummy's the waiting and side to side
motion of the boats can become just a bit too much.

I really like this Black & white image of Times Square. Nice simple tight composition. Yet it manages to include all the elements which go together to make up this famous landmark. Well done! Pat
