Has anyone had any experience with the Bogen Junior tripod? I
believe it is model #3045. It is being offered through Freestyle for
about $90, and comes as a complete set w/ 3 way head and
quick release.
I was looking for something light but sturdy to use with my MF
cameras (TLR's and a Hasselblad with standard lens). I shoot
mostly fine art stuff, so sometimes I'm not always concerned
with sharpness, wobble, etc., but would like a good tripod when I
need it.
This seems like a good deal, even though it is probably
recommended for 35mm. But most 35mm systems people use
on tripods are probably heavier and more cumbersome than my
cameras, right?
If you know about this one, please give me your thoughts...
thanks!

My wife just bought me a used 500 C for Christmas. It came equipped
with an A-12 back, waist-level finder, and the silver-finished 80mm
Ziess Planar. This is my first Hasselblad system, and although
everything appears to be working fine on this great looking camera, I
would like some advice from some of you who know more.
First off, is there any way to determine how old it is? Any serial #'s
to reference? I've already concluded that it is an earlier model 500 C
(because it has the dual tripod sockets), but how early?
Second, is there anything crucial I need to know about this particular
model? Any common problems associated with these? Should or should not
do's?
Finally, I understand this model went through several mechanical
changes thoughout it's production. Does that still make it compatible
with the rest of the Hasselblad system? Will newer lenses and backs
still fit this body? I'm not familiar enough with these to be certain,
since I've only been trying to read up on them through web research.
Any advice would be much appreciated!

-this model is actually the #3405, my mistake.
...and in regards to the last comment, since I know I'll probably
get blasted for saying I shoot "fine-art stuff"... those of you who
use the camera as an expressive tool know what I mean by that.
So can we please stick to helpful advice? :)
