I wanted it dark, but I can easy see that it can appear too dark for you. There are more details on the negative, though. Thanks for taking time to comment on my picture! ;-)

I appreciate your comment, but I'll have to say that I from time to time like to show things a little bit differently. The majority of the pictures I take are straight forward with no fuzz or strange angles. Thanks again;-)
  1. Great picture! Strong graphics, and I love the composition. However, it occur to me that you have probably used a pola-filter, thus causing the dark sky. I would suggest that you use a red filter, HOYA 25 for instance, to get a more overall dramatic sky and skies. But great pic!

Thanks for your input Ivan, but I must confess that the symmetrical composistion was very much intended, but I tried to not tilt the camera as much as I did...it is not easy with a Holga, because what you see is not what you always get...

Great! I love the way you've composed it. The contrast and brightness/darkness is right on target, and the result is a very viewable image that would fit nicely on any wall! I like it a lot!

Wonderfull! You've catched the decisive moment in very Henrie Cartier-Bresson like style. The angle of view is brilliant, so is also the way you've chosen to apply a scale of depth to the image by having such a dominating foreground. I also like the strong difference between the dark area and the light area. Great shot!

My task is to uncover the urban monsters that exits among us. They

might seem to be living in harmony and peace with us, but when the

right chance comes they'll do anything to consume us and make us one

    of them...

As it is already said: it is unsharp! And that is one of the worst thing you can do to a potentially great photo. It is very nicely composed, and the light falling on the top of the mountain add to the photo. However, as a great fan of Ansel Adams, I can't help wanting to see it in mono...but an overall nice photo.

This is an old mill close to where I live. The picture is of its

reflection in a pit of water on the ground.

When it's getting darker outside and nobody can see me I'm gonna

climb on top of the mill and take some pictures...

  2. Thank you for the comments. I did write Minneapolis so I don't know why it changed to St'paul. Maybe it's because I named it St'Paul in PS...I don't know.

I know it is far from perfect, but I still fancy it. Maybe I'll get a second chance in a couple of years...
