9.
Thanks for the info... Also, for clarification, she wanting to purchase a print of this image from me... I didn't necessarily mean sell the image itself. She wants a 30x20 print that she'll have framed herself and it's intended to be hung in an attorney's office in Detroit. This is info I just found out in her reply email.

 10.
I was recently contacted by an "Art Consultant" out of Detroit (I Googled her, she seems legit) that wishes to purchase an image from me for a client. It's a photo of Michigan's State Capital building that I took a few years ago. The problem is, I've always sold my services but I've never sold an individual image. So I have no idea where to start as an asking price... Can anyone give me a suggestion?

Here's the image in question...

 11.
I'm not really posting a question but I'm so stunned that I felt compelled to post something about my experience... I shot a wedding last Saturday (June 1st, 2013) and everything went well. The bride and groom were a fairly young couple (he was 30 and she was 25) and they seemed to be very in love. It was one of the best wedding's I've ever shot simply because the couple was so nice and easy going and you could just tell they had what it took to make a very long and healthy marriage. And it helped that I already had a good relationship with the couple because I knew the bride through a friend and because I shot their engagement photos.

Well, I just found out today that the husband passed away yesterday (June 6th) unexpectedly of what appears to be natural causes. He went for a run with his dogs and collapsed on the road. A neighbor found him and tried performing CPR but it was too late. That's all I know so far. They had only been married for 5 whole days. It's just so sad.

Now friends and family are asking me to hurry and get them some photos from the wedding before his funeral. And of course I am happy to oblige. And I do plan on making their photos a priority to finish editing so I can get them to the bride as soon as possible... But it is just going to be so heart wrenching to edit these photos now... :(
Has anyone else ever had a similar experience?

When I started the shoot I had a problem with the sun causing massive amounts of orange flare across most of the photo. At first I was confused because I had shot into the sun before without flare issues so I wasn't sure what was going on. Then I realized it was caused by my cheap ND filter I screwed on the lens. After I took it off, the flare virtually disappeared.
