1.
I'm using squarespace right now, and while everything isn't totally customizable it's incredibly easy to use and scales up very well (it's very big right now with some of the technorati). At the higher levels you can even put together private client galleries and map it to your own domain name (there are also plenty of discount codes available all over the Web, especially over at Revision 3).
Naturally my photos aren't as stunning as yours but if you pop over to my Web site you can get a good idea of some of what you can do.

 2.
If they say 2,000 then you should probably cap it at 2,000 no sense in giving them more than they're asking for at the moment. If they think they can sell that much then $250 is a drop in the bucket so think about what it took to make the photos, and make this deal and charge for that.

 3.
I can't say anything from a legal perspective (Mikael handled that, talk to a local attorney) but I can say something from the public relations standpoint.
The answer really depends on what bridges you feel comfortable burning. Clearly you wouldn't want to work with this model again since she's incredibly unprofessional but do you want her claiming the same thing to other models in your community? Granted you don't want people to have this kind of control over hat you do, especially after you've made an investment, but I'm sure with this kind of attitude it would be pretty easy to get her upset and talking trash.

 4.
I advertised for a couple of weeks, now I'm not the world's greatest photographer so I wasn't expecting to be overwhelmed with inquiries and they certainly met that expectation.
Now I might not have been optimized right but all I got was about 40 fans who don't appear to be interested in my services as much as they are interested in being fans of something. My hope is to get more of my other clients to come back through there (tag their stuff) and then hope that their friends come through.

 5.
I've never used a prepaid attorney, so I can't comment on that.
The advice that I can offer is that many states offer guidelines for starting a business on their Web sites (generally under a Department of Commerce or Attorney General or something like that), that can give you a good idea of where you want to go and a lawyer or accountant can tell you what might work best for your particular situation.

 6.
Your work is really stellar (for what it's worth coming from the really low end of the pool here). I only had one comment (and it's not about the photos, merely how they're presented).
About your watermarking (framing, what have you), was cutting off the lower part of the loop intentional? It's just a tiny bit distracting.

 7.
I suppose my only real issue (I'm not much of a pixel peeper) are the giant windows blown out in some of the photos (which are used to great effect in shots 10, 18 and 20). I'm sure you had your reasons for picking that particular place to stand (assuming you did get to pick it) but they are a bit straining.
Other than that I really loved the final photo, it really feels like one of those stolen moments (though of a boy rather than the bride and groom). Heckuva job.
