<p>I have done no less then 500 searches on this site and others in regards to the K20d and other photo stuff. Most questions have been asked and answered in great detail. So that may explain the whopping 11 posts. My apologies for the short answer, it was not intended to show lack of respect.I have noticed some posters have 100s of posts and no photos in a their photo gallery. Wonder what that might mean?<br>

<p>How do past and present users rated Faststone as compared to other free browser. Looking for cheap and east way to view and track photos. I currently am using RawTherapee and PPS. Neither are quick and easy at sorting and placing in proper files for fiuture use in my opinion. I downloaded the manual for FS and will read this weekend,however, any help in shortening the selection process would be great.</p>

<p>When I search for photos on my computer, they seem like they are located in numerous areas.. I started using RawTherapee and PSPX2. I have been using Photo Gallery from photo management. I have recently tried to arrange photos into a sensable order.The main question is why can I open RT and not find a photo in a certain file, but find it in Photo Gallery.If a file is deleted in PSP is it still in Photo Gallery. As you can tell from my questions, I'm not the well versed on file management in general.I need someone to walk me though the basic steps of this process. I have ordered the manuel for PSP, but would like to get a head start on cleaning this mess up. I currently only have about 1500 P&S photos and now the time learn the proper method for photo storage. Just purchased a K20d and shooting/interest have increased ten fold.<br>

<p>Just started using RT for my raw shots. Any hints,tips or time saving methods would be great. Only been using three weeks, but have made good process. I have just recently become very interested in the whole pp process. Am, also looking for comments about the pro/cons of Elements7 and Corel Paint Shop Pro. Just started a thirty day trail on both programs.<br>

<p>I have a 18-55 3.5/5.6 lens. Should I be able to shot at 3.5 in all camera modes. Its likes to shot at 4/5.6 must of the time. I went to manual mode and could not get it below 4. I would think in manual I could select any aperture.Both the camera and lens are new and I just must be missing something. That most likely will be knowledge. If its not user error I need to re-package and send back for a exchange. Thanks for any help!</p>

<p>I just spoke with Pentax USA. The warranty will be good in Florida. They (Paul) says he called the main office in regards to this question. The warranty is being issued in Co. not the state of Florida. Also the warranty is not being sold, it is a free gift. They state to send the proper papers into them and you will be fine. Note: the 2 year free extended warranty offer ends 7-31-2009. If you have questions they said call 1-800-877-0155. I have a Florida address and I had no problems. Thanks</p>

<p>Need help with the details of DFS using the K20. When will the feature kick in?Can the camera be moved while the DFS is under way.Can this feature be turned off?Is there any way around using this features?Does it only work in the bulb mode? I have heard that when using manual mode the feature is not activated.Yes,I could test it myself and will at a later date , but I would information/feed back from people that have used this feature in actual shooting situations.</p>

<p>Thanks for all the great info. I'm thinking that lenses for marco and potrait will be my next two purchases. I do believe a faster len will help my K20"s focusing performance in low light condirions. Not one of the best performers....I will say that this is the first forum were the members are interested in promoting the hobby, instead of trying to sell their BRAND or opinion. Thanks!! I noticed no comments on the usefulness of a tele-converter (1.4)for additional reach..</p>

I was thinking a marco len--Sigma 17-70 2.8 Marco- I think it would serve most walk around needs.i.e. close up,landscapes,nature and portraits. Are converters any good, extending the reach of the 300 would be nice. I enjoy hiking and take alot of nature shots currently. I would like to avoid purchasing 132 lenses in the next 3 years as did Javier. I would like have 3 or 4 good lenses to serve almost any need that may arise. Sorry for be overly broad!Thanks for your patiences.</p>

<p>I currently have a DA 18-55 and a DA 55-300. Which lens would I need to round out the package. I would like to be able to shoot all types of photos. I have about a 1000 dollars to spent on additional lenses. Thanks for any help!!</p>
