1.
Well i was thinking of a walkaround lens, for landscape, street and other
@Kent Staubus caves are not on my photo list for now i don't have any around and i don't think i'll make a trip to some soon :)

My idea was that i will add to this lens a 35mm 1.8 or a 50mm 1.8 later but now that everyone seems to agree that the constant 2.8 is better i'm more unsure than before.
So if i am to chose from the sigma and tamron which do you think would be better?

 2.
well i can afford it but at the edge so i was wondering about other options, i mean i don't really want to blow all my money on this if i can get something as good with less money... that's my problem :)

 3.
Ok so i decided to buy a Nikon D90, and i'm still not decided what lens should i get, so i read that the nikon 16-85 vr is one of the best dx lenses and since fx are kinda twice to 5 times the price i think i'll stay with a dx.

My question is what other alternatives do i have for a good optic quality in thise range of wide to medium zooms. I read good things about the 17-50 tamron and 18-50 sigma so are these 2 better or almost the same as the 16-85?

I know that those other are 2.8 all over and the nikon lacks that but i was wondering if the quality of the pics are as good or if there are other better lense but somewhere within the 16-85 price range or preferably lower.
Thx.

 4.
Ok so i was considering at some point in getting a sigma or a tamron because they are cheaper but with a fixed focal length so i was thinking of Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 EX DC MACRO or the Tamron AF-S SP 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II LD IF, btw is the macro function in the sigma making it different in any way from a non macro in that range? i mean it's not bad if it's macro but does this comes as a downside to something else?

And if i stick to the kit lens which would be better the 18-55 VR, the 18-105 VR or the 18-70mm(i saw a kit with this lens in it).
I ask all this because i want the minimum post processing work after i take the shot :)
I promise this will be the last question in this thread :)

 5.
@Shun Cheung : i don't really want a 5000d the price difference for the bodies is not that big...

ok so i understand i can't get a good full frame zoom out of this budget but what about other lenses for this type of sensor? i mean excluding the kit ones... how about other 3rd party lenses?

And also if it's not too much to ask you guys which would you think would be better for photojurnalism type of photograpy out of the 50mm f1.8 and the 35mm f1.8 primes? cause i understand with the crop factor and all the 35mm would be more like a 50mm on a big sensor. This i ask for future acquisitions.

 6.
@Kent: i'm not buying the lens before the camera, i want to buy them together and i'm not sure about which lens, so the idea is that from my budget after i buy the body with what's left of the money can i get a decent lens that's not DX ? :)
i'd like to get a zoom for versatility, i'll get some primes later but now i want a decent zoom.

 7.
Ok so i'll keep it short, i want to buy a Nikon D90 and i'm not sure if i should get a kit or the body and some lens separately. My whole budget is around 1200 euro and i want to get a lens that i could use in the future on a full frame as i may want to upgrade in time... maybe they will even make full frames cheaper :)
I saw that lately most of the lenses are DX, so the thing is what good and reasonable priced lens can i get for that money? and also i know you're gonna ask what i will be doing with it, so i'll say landscape, nature, street photography and a little bit of everything else... and i'm considering starting doing some stock photography, i'd like to experiment a little :)
in time when/if i'll have more money i'll try to get some pro lenses but for now i wanna stay in that budget :)
thanks.
