<p>Is there anyway to Prevent the LCD Monitor from Turning Off Automatically? I mean how to prevent the camera from turning off LiveView after 30 minutes? I know that camera's cannot record video for more than 30min how I am only looking for keeping the LiveView LCD monitor ON for more than 30 min?<br /><br />I want the live view mode to stay on (without recording movie) indefinitely (with external power supply for at least 5 hours)? is there anyway?<br /><br /><br />Ali</p>

<p>Hi <br> I want to use a DSLR body (preferably a Canon 5D Mark III) at lecture theatre to be able to live stream the lecture to other rooms LCD monitors using the HDMI out on the camera.(I also want to be able to REC video and take photos if required)<br> My problem is the Live View Mode shutdowns after 30 min (even when I disable the Auto Power Off).<br> I already know that the camera cannot taken more than 30 min of video however If I am not shoot video and not using the Camera's LCD monitor, I am mainly interested in streaming live view from the camera using an HDMI cable but I don't want the camera to go to sleep and shutdown!<br> Is there anything I am missing?
