The fog is natural, post-processing things onto the image is not my taste. I always like to find the best conditions although that often results in a lot of disappointments. But occasionally the weather god does play the ball, like this one! Thanks for everyone stopping by!

It was a quiet early morning. I was on my way to another photo location. Could not resist this view. Regards, Yi

A valid point, I agree the saturation is probably a little strong on this one, since my monitor was not calibrated. I will be more careful next time. On the other side, I feel the scene is more dramatic than you imagined, the saturation was not boosted by a lot only +5 on the camera raw, I took two exposures, one for the church, one for the burning mountain and blended together. My photography is generally try to convey the feeling I experienced through my view, I think I just had a more powerful view this time! Thanks for your critique!

Hi Ya, great color on the mountain peaks! Bravo! Yi

I agree, the color on this one is a bit funny when uploaded on to the site. Largely due to my system wasn't calibrated to the same setting. I should be more careful next time! Thanks for your comments!

A view I didn't see when I was there! Well done!

It was really on fire, at least lighted the fire in my heart. :)

Like the calm cold blue tone in this one and the crispy sharpness on the patch of ice. Really balanced exposure! Like your whole portfolio!

Personaly, I agree with David on emphasizing on the rocks and lose the lake entirely! Keep it simple but strong! A great shoot again!

This shoot works because of the unique shape of those foreground rocks. A well considered composition. And I really like the contrast between the blue rocks and the glowing mountain.
Well done,

I really like your mountain scenes, those are real master pieces! I also like your dedications to be at those vintage points at those kind of un-imaginary time, must be a lot of really cold mornings! Keep up the spirit! I would like to learn more from you!
Best wishes,

You should go there to experience the feeling! Great place!

The light on the little wood house came from a shaft of light from the surrounding trees. The best off-camera flash one could wish for! Glad you like it!

This is the same location as the "alpine glow" photo I submitted, but before the
final glowing moment, which gave me enough time to shoot three images and
combined together. Hope you like this one too! Please view in large! Yi

After hours of searching, found this location, but it was worth it! Any comments
