This is so extraordinary. I love the yellow and orange. The colors are so rich.

I spent a few minutes flipping back and forth between this one and Antenna. I like the lines on this one better. That is quite a view you found. You dont see the birds nest in this one but the power lines stick out better and give it a nice sense of proportion. The power lines are exactly parralel with the crane and the building. The man looks like he should be hanging on for dear life.

Samrat, Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the builder/resident of this house. I knew I had to check it out after reading it. How long must it have stood? Fantastic shot and wonderful job on the colors. There is such detail and the contrast is amazing.

Lucy, I am inspired. The lighting on this is other-worldly. You make me want to grab my tripod and go sit out all night for just the right moment. I love the smoothness of the clouds and the sharp clearity of the stars. Thank you for sharing the history of the church.

Stunning clearity and realism. Carmelo, you sure captured the grandeor of Castello d'Este. Your colors are spectacular. What kind of filter or post processing did you use, if any?

All comments appreciated. How can I make this better?

Drew, the colors in this are exquisite. Your choice of rotten wood door shows well. The chipped paint leaves yellow and mildewed wood that contrasts the old blue of the original door. Great lines of symmetry—the brass handle nicely compliments the browner right side. Excellent work.

The ancient wood work with all its splits and cracks show up exquisitely in your picture. I like the title because it automatically makes me think that "They just don't make things like they used to."

I love what you did here. All to often people delete pictures because they are blury. Your image shows motion and therefore life. The colors are well placed too. The yellow of the sun at the top is mirrored by the yellow taxi cab. The blue sky reflection in the windshield is complemented by the bicyclist's blue jeans. Nice work!

Stephen, I love shooting open doors. You really captured the lighting on this one. Meetering the light just perfect to expose the interrior and have radiance through the left side. I think the cracking plaster wall is fantastic. The twin rays of light give the picture the synergy and balance needed to draw the eye into the fore ground.
