Taken using a Nikon SB-600 popped into a white shoot-through umbrella at

camera right, with a golden reflector positioned at camera left to emphasise

her hair and warm up shadows.

I was eager to try out my new Mikrosat BlitzBirne kit with a Godox Sy8000

flash bulb and reflective umbrella, and my father volunteered to be my

model. Hair/rim light was provided by a Nissin Di622 II with no light

modifiers. Do you think I should have gone for a more contrasty black-and-

white conversion?
