Great shot, both for the composition and the beautiful exposure.  Just curious though, why would you shoot at f22 and suffer with the softening effects of diffraction, when say f12 would have given you the same DOF in the foreground and background? 

Don't get me wrong, the pic doesn't look soft...at least at your posted size.  It's a fact though that extreme small apertures like f22 does cause diffraction, so I was just curious.

Well I guess it's been said already but I'm pretty sure that sky was cloned from something else...which ruins it for me. If I didn't know any better I would definitely think it was a cool photo, but mostly because the photographer had the luck and timing to capture such a beautiful sky with that striking subject. Knowing that the sky is fake just ruins it IMHO. Nice digital composite though.

Beautiful capture!  I would have liked to see you play with levels a bit in photoshop to brighten this up just a tad, but great photo.

Interesting composition, especially with the foreground rock in the center of the frame, but it really works well.  Nicely done.

I don't like the halos you created around the subject, this would be a better portrait with traditional processing.
