The shore looks like smokey quarts cauterized under the sun. A striking view, David.

It is clear to see what draws you so frequently to the coast, Brendan. It's a beautiful addition to this impressive gallery.

The Autumn gilding is completely enchanting. Nicely composed under this elm, Chris.
-
A remarkable place and marvelously depicted in this panorama, Pamela.

Whether candid or staged, I really love the thought you've given this image, from the well worn boots, wood flooring and flannel blanket, to the longing look in your pointer's eyes. Warmhearted and wonderfully composed, David.

I have not seen such an astonishing sunset for quite some time, Chris. Perhaps the closest in recent memory is one I watched go down outside my bedroom window a few weeks ago since I was too lazy to get out with my camera. Beautiful clouds and color!

Sal, there are so many great characteristics in this image. The colorful and moody clouds are phenomenal. You pulled it all together in a solid composition. Fantastic!
-
Nicely caught with a great attitude, crisp light and background contrast, Issy.
-
A wonderfully subtle and impressionistic macro, Issy! Well taken!
-
Beautiful exposure, well framed, great forms and misty effects on the falls, Stephen! Your variations on this theme are splendid as well.
-
The light contrast creates a great sense of drama, Claude. Well composed and a magnificent sculpture and tribute.
-
Wonderfully composed, Issy. The rock cliffs are impressive and the arch of stone creates an interesting illusion.
-
The profuse sky is beautifully counterbalanced by the sparing compositional elements. A beauty, Alf!

Mark, the subject matter is quite evocative and your title speaks directly to my own initial impression of the image. Beautifully composed and glorious sunset. A paradise found.

Paul, I agree a polarizer would help add contrast, deepen the color and cut down reflectivity on the grass to some degree. This is an ideal afternoon to be shooting in the countryside. The composition looks really good. Perhaps lower light would set this off well. Best wishes to you.

David, I've been perusing your Little Pigeon Creek series here. The cuts and curves of the creek meandering to the lake create terrific forms. It is especially provocative in this light and mood. Beautiful work!
-
A little modesty goes a long way when you're in God's Country. I think I'd like Kansas as well, Bill. Beautiful wide open country you've captured here.
-
A perfect pastoral paradise, Chris! The composition in this rural scene could not have been more harmonious. Wonderful work!
-
I like how you've framed this beetle perched on the leaf, Gail. Good color and selective focus.

A strikingly elegant composition with utopian qualities. Beautifully captured, Alf!

Sal, I may have said so before, but I find this image is just outstanding. There is no shortage of industry in the Motor City, so it is very inspiring for me.
