<p>Just got one a week ago,using it on a D810 and delighted,find it very sharp edge to edge F4/F11, and it focuses very close.</p>

One of the many wonderful waterfalls on the river Orchy in glen Orchy, I had to get onto the large centre rock to get this shot from the centre of the falls. While I sat quite a few Salmon were trying to negotiate the falls. -

A wonderful moody atmospheric morning at the wonderful river Etive in glen Etive The Midges were voracious that morning,but the shots made the blood loss bearable. -

Thank you very much Jeff, I did add a slight coffee tint in Nik colour efex pro 4,but it seemed to over saturate on upload. The movement in the tree is the rather stiff breeze that was blowing,I have had my Nikon 16-35 since it came out and love it,I find it very sharp corner to corner at f8-f13. I look forward to seeing some of your shots from your trip. Thanks again Douglas -

<p>Having spent quite a few hours yesterday checking out my lenses with my Nikon D810 body using charts and the Spyder lens cal I was surprised that all my lenses seem to be focusing fine. On previous D800s almost all of the same lenses needed some adjustment. I am assuming the quality control has been very much improved with the fabrication in another factory,just wondering if any other D810 owner has needed less fine tuning if any.</p>

Beautiful late Sunlight bathed the frosted trees on the shore of Loch Awe near Kilchurn castle and in the distance my son was trying to get his shot od the day.
