I have a student who every time she switches to one certain lens on her camera the film frame comes out totally blank. When switching back to the first lens everything comes out fine. I can see through the lens by itself and the view finder when attached to the camera. The light meter is working fine with it and the shutter release goes off fine and the film is advancing normal.

 

But somehow the light is not hitting the film. Any ideas?

Hello! I was donated some parts of a Cambo 4x5, and it's been a while since I've messed around with one. Could you help me figure out what I'm missing? Also is there a way to tell if the piece I have is a front or rear?

 

I know I need the rail and the piece to attach the film holder. Is there another piece to attach the ground glass too?

My students have suddenly gotten black stain on all their trays and even on their prints now. Any ideas what would be causing this? Did one of the chemicals go bad?

 

<p>Not Parr either, similar feel though. It wasn't as crazy as LaChapelle. It was very minimalistic one or two people sitting around. Very golden hour-esque lighting. Made me think of housewives in Palm Springs. </p>

<p>Nope not either of them. Was in color and not as fantasy as Crewdson.</p>

<p>They did kind of fake lifestyle shots of people in their living rooms/back yards. I remember one with a guy golfing and maybe a woman getting drunk by a pool. Any thoughts?</p>

<p>I have a couple students whose RAW files are not completely opening when they try to open them in Bridge/Photoshop. It is strange because the previews look fine and it is only about 1/3 of the images that it occurs to. Is it a problem with their cameras?</p>

<p>I have been shooting weddings for a few years now and have never had a client ask to have an online gallery so that family members could order prints. I typically just give them all the images on DVD and make any additional prints on my own.<br>

BUT someone has finally asked me to have such a gallery and I am left questioning which site to go with and how much additional I should charge the client to set that up.<br>

I have been looking at zenfolio.com, digiproofs.com, and imagequix.com all of which seem to be pretty legit.<br>

So my questions for anyone... Do you use any of these? How do you like it? How do your clients like it? And what do you build into your costs to set up this service for each client?</p>

<p>I had my students make printing profiles with the Colormunki software, but whenever they go to use the profiles from Photoshop to actually print images they are getting this strange blue cast on the borders of the paper. What is really strange is that there is not any information in these areas and there shouldn't be anything printing there at all. I've made a mock up here (http://i42.tinypic.com/new07k.jpg) of what I mean. It also is not affecting the whites in the actual image, just of the paper on the borders. We tried making three different profiles on two different kinds of paper and it still did it. We are printing using an Epson R2400. Any suggestions?</p>

<p>That is the problem, that sort/filter does not integrate the files from both cameras together. It does one cameras and then the others</p>

<p>I am trying to sort my images from a wedding with those of the second photographer and the Capture Time sort filter in Lightroom does not seem to work in combining the two camera's files.<br>

I've followed the steps on, (http://callawaygable.com/blog/2010/01/04/how-to-synchronize-multiple-cameras-in-lightroom-for-photographers/) to get the proper time stamps on the second camera but when I look at the Library all of the second shooter's shots are still at the end and not intermingled with mine. Any ideas?</p>

<p>I bought a used 5D body and can't figure out how to change the file info - author, from the previous owners name. I can do it manually in photoshop but there has to be a way to do it in the camera. Thanks!</p>

<p>Is there a way to set a 5d to go off every 5 minutes(or other amount of time) automatically for an extended period of time?</p>
