<p>How old is the Canion 10d ! would you say that is old technology i have seen photos on this site taken with a Canoin 10d and they were all fantastic shots ! doe's that make you think,it is the photographer who is the real artist even if he is getting out dated !</p>

<p>I agree with all comments it is a superb camera i have a mark I and now there is a mark ll out next most likely a mark III that is busness Canon has to do that to keep selling cameras !but the 5D mark I will still make good photos what ever comes out !.</p>

<p>I read so much about microdrive memory getting hot and being fragile so why do camera maker's like Canon e,t,c add micro drive slots into there camera's there must be some advantage using them !</p>

<p>I have no problem holding the 300mm f4 even with the 1. 6 or 2x extender added,my camera is a 5d but on the 10d it was ok and i have a usless right arm and hand owing to a stroke i have had stuck rough material to my shutter release so i can feel it ,it is a great lens! cheers.</p>

<p> I f you need a cheep sharpening program get this one - <a href="http://www.photocleaner.com">www.photocleaner.com</a> i always reqimend as it is cheap and you can sharpen in stages it will do most thing and cost is about £17 you can get a free trial once used you will buy it , i take all my shot in raw and i sharpen all of them in this progam ,level adjustment,colour correction,colour saturation,reaval shadows,noise reduction,apply vighnet,framing any colout and size and naming !i am not on comission just to help people same as some one helped me !give it a go !cheers.</p>

<p> I use the canon 300mm with the 1.4 x and some time 2x extender that is what i think is best the 300mm is a nice sharp lens and not has so large or heavy as the 100 t0 400 mm owing to all it glass! if you were taking zoo shots i would think the zoom would be a good lens owing to it 100 mm setting !cheers.</p>

<p>I am a canon man and all my lenes are canon you are always better with same make len's as the camera but if you look around you can get good second hand lens -ebay for one put the lens in the search engine and see what you can find !cheers.</p>

<p>When i used this lens on my 5d i was not happy at all,i got in touch with <a href="http://www.warehouseexpress.com">www.warehouseexpress.com</a> where i bought them and they said send both camera and lens back which i did and they cleaned the censor free of charge for me and sent the lens back to canon for re setting i got it back it was billiant !there was problems with this lens,check it out !cheers.Tony.<br>

<p>I have the Canon 65mm macro,it is a difficult lens to hand hold at great magnification 3x tro 5x as a lens you could call it a microscope lens as that is what it is ! i dont use it to much at the moment but i know you will get sharp images,i use mostly the Canon 100 m f2.8 lens it takes very sharp photos and it is more versitile than the 65 mm and if you take 1x shots and remember you can always crop the image to bring it closer ! if i lost my macro lenses i would replace the 100mm instantly !</p>

<p>I am not a pro photograper but i save in jpeg only, but in the programe i use called Capture One Pro you can save in all three as you have mentioned ! imagin a pro would save in tiff ! if you are not a pro save in jpeg !cheers.</p>

<p>I agree with Robert it s about painting there lens a light colour ,it is all about advertizing ! and canon know how to do it,i do not know much about Nikon cameras but if they had painted there lens a light colour then all the cameras would be Nikon ,they are both good cameras ,good advertizing sells !</p>

<p>It is a geat lens i have used it on 10d and now 5d ,on a small sensor camera you can be futher away from the subject for the same size than a full frame like the 5d camera , its i nice all round ,nice to hand hold easyer than the 180mm macro, the most difficult macro is the mp-e 65mm which i also have ,1x 2x ok 3x starts to get difficult !,cheers.</p>

<p>I use Canon 5D and mine is set at sRGB not at Adobe RGB and i always use Raw.</p>

<p>The best way is to shoot raw and do the sharpening on the computer,I use a good program called photocleaner it only costs £19 uk for the photocleaner- pro you can buy it online free to try <a href="http://www.photocleaner.com">www.photocleaner.com</a> ( why do i use this program for sharpening !) because i can sharpen in stages it is a very good program you can do many thing with it but to convert to raw you will need another program which i use captureone pro ,i think raw is best even with jpeg you will have to do work after unless they are just snap shots !cheers.</p>

<p> I never blow but suck,i use a vacuun cleaner but the the house one but a miniture that they use for models and cleaning key boards it is very small about 6 inches lond you just plug it into your computer USB socket it has a button on it to increase the power and also a light in front of it that you can switch on ,this is my idea to use one of these as i cannot see any sence in blowing the dust around !i have been using it for three years now with no bother cost about £20 i use if for inside the lens as well you can see it here and you may get one fom ebay,i use it with out the brush that you get with it just the sucksion tube ! i never use any thing else !here is a usa site but i am in UK , cheers.Anthony.<br>

<p>I thought the world hated Vista ! i have a xp pc and a vista laptop and after using xp vista is rubbish i hate it i have heard microsoft is working on some thing new if that is so vista has got to be rubbish and they know it !but mac i dont know much about but i do know that most programs are made for pc !how many on this site use mac's !that is the anwser ! i think this site needs a poll for voting on differant subjects .cheers.</p>
