How about a longer lens. Ethiopia has some fantastic endemic wildlife. I presume you will be in the Simiens and Bale mountains. Simien wolves and Gelada baboons are only found in those regions. I was in Ethiopia 10 years ago. It is a fascinating country with the most amazing scenery. The churches and monasteries are also worth visiting. All my photos are on print, so sadly I can't share any at the moment!

In 1668 it was converted into a place of stores. Hundreds of barrels of gunpowder were stored here. The staircase below has no nails and the handrail is made of lead to prevent sparks.

Upnor Castle was bulit in 1564 to protect English warships moored at Chatham dockyards. Despite a brave attempt, it entirely failed to do so in 1667, when the Dutch sailed past it to burn or capture the English fleet at anchor.

After all my years in London, this is the first time I have seen Tower Bridge raised. It took no more than 5 minutes for the traffic to be stopped, bridge raise, boat pass and traffic start crossing the bridge again. this must be one of the most recognisable bridges in the world.
