Such an understated, and maybe therefore, so compelling image. The clever composition, whit the ladder, the chairs and the person all pulling the viewers attention into different directions, create tension. The rhythm of the repeated slats of the ladder and arms of the chairs, as well as the repeated triangular patterns in the girls knees, that echo the triangle formed by the ladder and the trees, bind everything together. A wonderful work of art which leaves me with a sense of nostalgia, and a sense of alienation, if not a touch of cabin fever.

The feeling of flight, energy, sheer joy for life, just transports the viewer to a better place, Hannu. So very well captured in the composition, the textures and above all the silhouetted feet above the lit sky. Stunning.

Marco, thanks for adding the 'spiritual'. Untill you now mention it, I wasn't consciously aware of it. But that word is very apt to describe this gallery owner/curator.

Thank you Rick, for the confirmation that something is working... Much appreciated. One doubts with every new experiment. Only feedback from other eyes helps to gain confidence.

Amy, yes, it was indeed the light sparkles that caught my eye in the first place. Luckily someone chose to become a silhouette for me. Such luck! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Surreal and mesmerizing. The composition, the expression, the detailed texture that makes us what to think its real. But the leaves transport us to a mairy world. Hats off to you, Patrick

Wow, Hendrik. You've set the sky alight. I love those two little dots in the dark. They enhance the mysterious quality of this unusal take on sunset photos. Cheers!

I kept coming back to this abstract-symbolist image that suggest more than it seems with first sight. The simplicity of the composition enhanced by the the lensmovement draws the viewer into something words can't get around. Well done, Siamak.
