I have to agree with Glen here. It is a fantastic photo, and for Mark, if you ever read this message, go back to your own photos and tell yourself they look completely unnatural. "Sweetness of the vine #485" is a classic example of the over usage of HDR. Unlike Stuart, you have let the computer do the work for you. I'm sure, however, once you become a better 'photographer' (not software user) you will understand this. As for your comment on the foggy look, that's what makes this photo great.

It is a neutral density graduated filter to a 4 stop, meaning the light in the sky is darkened by 4 stops of light. if this photo was taken without the filter, the sky would be too bright and would have no detail.

This was taken from "The Pass" lookout on the same beach strip as
Byron Bay on the Australian east coast. This has been sitting in my
archives for over a year and only recently I started to really like this
photo. It reminds me of the great times, the summer, and just relaxing .
