1.
I have just been asked to shoot "action" shots of a 70 team baseball tournament in May. My website I have up right now is pretty general. It does not offer customer online buying. Has anyone ever used printroom.com to show and sell event photos? Or another good easy-on-the wallet priced website? ANy help would be great. Thanks.

  2.
My workflow is at a low volume but consistent. Taking pics on the side. I guess I did not adjust the custom white balance the last time I took the indoor photos. I guess I didn't even think I needed to adjust everytime I go somewhere. Thanks

  3.
I am using umbrella lights. I am also using a meter. The setup meters at 5.6. Like mentioned before I will go to 6.3 where as the picture is less pasty but background is darker. Probably need to position background light better?

  4.
I do use a light meter and even though I am a novice at it I pretty much know how to read/adjust it. I use a pocket wizard to set off flashes. Question: How far away should the key light be? Maybe I have it too close. Thanks

  5.
Hello. I have been having a problem with some indoor photos. Some of the faces on the subjects come out

pasty looking. I typically use 3 interfit 150's. I have my key light set at full to the left of me. I have the fill light set at

half to the right of me. Sometimes I use the hairlight mounted to the ceiling set at half. I use a canon 30d with a 24-

105 L f/4.0 lens set at 125th ISO 125 f/ 5.6 or 6.3. I must not be doing something right. Any help would be great!

    Thanks

  6.
Hello everyone, I have 3 interfit 150's. I have a key light set up to my left, fill light to my right and a hair light mounted to my ceiling. It seems that my subjects skin sometimes comes out pasty looking. Why? Even when I take two of the lights on location to shoot bball team photos sometimes players look pasty also. What am I doing wrong. I shoot with a canon 30d at 125th, ISO 125 and f5.6 or 6.3. My key light is set to full and key light is half as is the mounted light when in use. What do you guys think? Any help would be great! danny

  7.
Have a canon 30d and a 70-200mm 2.8L lens. I am having trouble taking quality bball action photos. I typically use Manual set at 2.8 ISO 1200-1600 and shutter speed 1/250. They don't look good. The gym we play in is dark. Also, a lot of pics have red eye in them. I set the camera so red eye shouldn't be a problem but it is. What am I doing wrong? I'm missing something. Thanks, danny

  8.
Help! I have 3 150 interfits. I have one hooked to my ceiling for a hair light set at about 5.6. I have my main light set at 8.0 and my fill at 5.6. It seems when I take a pic (full body or torso shot) towards the bottom of the photo it tends to be noticeably darker. Why? I am just beginning and I have read up on things but it's not right. Am I missing/doing something wrong? I have my 30d set at 125 ISO and shutter speed at 250. Also, when I turn the camera vertically it's even darker on the right side of the photo. Any suggestions, comments would be great. Thanks.

  9.
I have a 30d with a 24-105 f/4.0 lens. I somewhat am familiar with Manual adjustments. I adjusted the ISO all over the place, used flash and no flash, kept the aperture at 4.0 but my photos still have a brown look to them. I have used external flash and the regular camera flash. I have shot in AWB and custom and nothing comes out right. Outside it's great but not inside: home, gym, etc. I have read through the book and have done some research on line but to no avail. Can someone help so my pictures can stop looking so bad. At times, I think I have had better luck with my old point and shoots. That shouldn't be. Thanks

  10.
With my 30d, many times when I take indoor general photos they have a tint of brown to them and come out rather dark. I have a 24-105mm L series lens f/4 and 50mm f/1.8 lens. I shoot in manual and have adjusted the custom white balance. Doesn't matter if I use external flash or not, majority just don't look right. Any suggestions? What am I doing wrong or just not doing? Any help would be great. This site has been awesome in the previous questions I've put up! Thanks dk

  11.
I have a canon 30d with a 24-105mm L series f/4 lens. I am having some trouble while taking photos of small groups. It seems those faces in the back or further a little further away are a little blurry and some are crisp. What do I need to do? I have read thru the manual but seem to be confused. Thanks
