Looking at picking up a second full frame, primarily for wide angle through to 120 mm. I have a D750 which I use with my longer lenses. Is the D700 a viable option? Price is a bit of a consideration. A used 700 can be appreciably less than a used D600/610.
Does anyone see any advantage/disadvantage to replacing the provided lens hood with the metal screw in from B+W? A couple of pluses that come to mind are it looks to be less bulky and may be able to screw into a circular polarizer thus allowing ease of use. Having said all that, I'd be interested in hearing from others who have tried it.
I do not have a quality printer at home nor do I have a quality local service. Any suggestions on what labs do quality work to print from digital files?
I have been searching the web for an alternative lens collar for a Nikon 80-400 (newer version). The price is the same everywhere ($169.00). Any opinions out there on other equivalent options that are not as expensive?

Looking at picking up a 1.4 TC, mostly for birding and wonder what folks out there think of Kenko, Sigma, Vivitar, vs Nikon. I have an 80-400 g.

Intend to use one or the other on a D7000 (or D7100 in the near future). I have a 10-24DX for superwide so that's not a concern. Any advantage of FX over DX?
