Probably the Last Photo I'll submit for critique before my subscription
expires, and I'm not sure if i'll renew. Took this photo oat Sombrio
beach on Vancouver Island. My favorite photo of my summer. Got him
to pose for me, as a huge wave rolled in. managed to get the shot
before running away with my camera held high to keep it dry. He never
saw the wave coming, what with posing and all, and got smashed. have
a look at the following photo. Also, please see this one larger, It's well
worth it. Enjoy!

Whislt swimming in the quarries on texada island, BC. How is it?

i was actualy the guy in the air, got my friend all set up for the shot. I don't usualy use any burst settings, since the quality of the shots isn't all that great, and my camera can't take the pictures quick enough. so it's just the one! glad he got it though...

A glimpse into Seattle's underground cycling scene. 400M sprints, head

Nice! great timing, really crisp
-
didn't rate it, cos i think my opinion is more on bias rather than it is on the quality of the shot, but i kinda find it a bit tacky.... not so much a fan of the baby pictures as i am of your other works

I like the crop, and the whole general layout. really good. fly is nice and ugly too, hairy, black, and even the wings are worn and tired looking. the white of the flowers makes for nice contrast, but the ones at the bottom right are a bit distracting
-
she looks real framiliar.... great shot!
-
like the saturation and the shutter speed for the water. slowing it down almost always looks great. but have to agree, the moutains don't look super sharp, but i suppose that's what happens when the sun goes down! where was this?
-
you know cat? from the comics? she could go invisible, walk through walls, AND walk on air. thet'd be cool. anyhow, good pic! was going to ask what came frist, the idea, then the portrait, or the idea?
-
did you use any kind of filter on this photo? the bridge has the look of almost being a charcoal painting. really good looking
-
pretty! good contrast. I see you're making good use of your new macro. they're great aren't they?
-
Hey! i saw this photo as i was going through the critique forum! didn't realize it was yours. Always taking nice bird shots. takes good timing, especialy getting three in one shot. good work

I always see these great photos agains black backdrops, and have no
idea how the photographer does it. especialy when i know the photo
couldn't have been done in a studio, like say for ex. when it's an
elephant. So I went out at night with a flashlight and made these few
photos up. what do you think?(this one's two i put together in my
computer's paint program(cos i haven't a clue about photoshop either...))
