oh well the price went up to $ 104 but i was over-bid in the last second..
my 28mm 1:2.8 came today and its a gem.
i'm shooting agfa APX to be developed in rodinal in my canon a-1 with my canon 28mm. -everything is compatible now
thank you for all your responses and the beautiful pictures
-
my original 28mm/2.8 for ~6$ is on its way and should arrive tomorrow.
BUT just as i was about to turn my back on all these photo-related internet auctions, i caught a glimpse of
another auction, a canon FD 20mm 1:2.8. now this one is a bit more expensive but its still a reasonable price
(~65$) for a dying FD beauty.
now i like wide angles but isnt the 28mm enough?
what speaks for the 20mm? could i get a better deal?
thanks

thanks for your response. i think i'm going to have to find somebody for an exchange or go for the risky mission on selling and buying or buying and selling.
by the way, is it true that if you subtract 1/3 of the medium format lens' focal length from itself, you should have about the length of a small format cameras lens? (150mm=100mm?)
in small format i usually work with 50mm (i just got a 28/2.8 for my canon a-1 a few minutes ago)
so i guess you can tell i like wide angles, thank god the people i shoot arent afraid of me, eh?
-
so i got myself a shiny vintage-esque hasselblad 500C along with one 6x6 120 magazine and a prism viewfinder
including a light meter (i dont know the name, forgive me!). its all still in great shape and i couldnt ask for
much more, seeing it only cost me 800.-CHF (= somewhere about 693$ US).
BUT
it also came with a sonnar 150mm/1:4 lens which is pretty much useless to me, as i do alot of spontaneous
portraits that eventually need more than 1:4
like that 80mm/1:2.8 i've heard so much about..
now i am i crazy or is there a possibility that my lens could be worth a bit more than that one?
IF so, do you think there would be any chance of some sort of exchange?
i apprechiate you reading my rumbling ramblings but i would apprechiate it even more if you'd give me a useful
answer.
anyhow
