High end or low end studios require sales and marketing experience even more than photo skills if you wish to survive in this game.Ask any successful photographer.

Well deserved Brad.Congratulations!.

I have two D200 bodies and never use the second one. It was necessesery as a backup when I did wedding work.So off to Ebay it goes!.Over the years I have used a raft of lenses and formats but not being a collector ,keeping it simple works for me.

I use a crop body and a 18-50 zoom for street work, mostly used at the 18mm end.Anything longer I find very unsatisfying,it's just the way I see.Lately I have been playing with flash at that focal length. The results and reactions have been interesting so far(Not good but interesting!).Anything to shake it up a little{;~o

Assist a SUCCESFUL wedding pro you admire and you will soon know what equipment you require. If you are too smart for this advice, your screwed.

For sure I would record the event,it"s what I do.Looking thru the lens has an amazing calming effect, divorces me from reality.Parv., whats the worst they could do? throw me off the flight{;~).

I agree that these guys are behaving like nitwits, they are also victims of journalistic bottom feeders using selective editing to sensationalise the storey.Reinforcing the public's fears:Old+male+camera= perv.

Blake it"s better than dry statistics.Puts a face and voice to it.Yes it will sell newspapers and soapflakes but how else do you get the message out at a human level?.

In the FAQ they state a lifetime gaurentee against fading.

Thanks for the very interesting link Ton. Clive, withen the limits of the equipment available I am sure it was necessary to stage scenes. Remember his training as a painter, this would have been a perfectly natural way to work.

Just noticed the Monthly Project is Urban Images.Maybe I am late on the scene on this.Check the home page.

I shoot street almost 100% of the time and have done so for many years. It is extremly rare for me to encounter somebody who objects to having their photo taken. In these cases I will not take it,for me the mood has been broken not a great moral issue.Same goes for anybody who insists I take their photo,a far more frequent occourance.I do shoot with empathy and respect for my subjects at least from my point of view.Edward when I need advice on shooting grain silos I know who to ask but please do not offer advice on something you know nothing about.

Yes Clive and Mark Todd are already donating prints.Good work guys.

I have never strived to change the World with my "art". All I have sought to change is my world.

Those with Leicas and Holgas think they are.

Patrick one of the reasons I have never joined a photo/camera club. Art + Politics is a bland reciepe.
