Thanks much Wayne. Yes, love those earth tones, even in man made objects.

Hi Sarah, and thank you very much. Yes, Hans is a GSP - wonderful dogs in my opinion!
Take care, David

Thank you Radu. Yes, the winter has been strange - with as you mention many cloudy foggy days. we have had less than 4 hours of sunshine for the entire month on January. A fresh snowfall last night though - about 4" of new snow has changed the scene dramatically.

This is exquisite Sarah - gorgeous tone and detail.
Well done,

Thanks very much Jack, Mike, & Holger.
This is a favorite waypoint in a hike around the lake, and this time Hans held still for a moment.

Love this shot of Roxie Mario - she's a beauty!

Superb image quality Alf - and an exceeding lovely scene. Appears to me to be a crescent moon in the sky, rather then a star or planet.
I also appreciate keeping the copyright notice smaller than usual. I understand the desire to protect your work if possible - but I find that large type somewhat diminishes the enjoyment of the picture.
Thanks for the history on the ship as well -

Hi Mike - thanks.
The bus was a Saginaw city bus - then relegated to field hand quarters on the farm it appears. So, no need to upgrade - just have to tow it to Alabama:)!

Good story Radu. Yes, be alert on the trails. Here in Michigan - bears, wolves, and mountain lions are expanding their range southward into my area. It's exciting to have the large predators back, but somewhat disconcerting as well!

Great title Jack, and that is one happy dog! Perhaps Carlos' "legs" is the owner, in which case I understand that doggy grin.

Graceful, and nice and sharp against the sky.
Well done Radu.

I like the patch of sunlit rock especially Radu. Is there a trail to the top?

Thanks as always Mike. The lack of snow is about to change - this scene will be mostly white in the next few days of the forecast is correct.

Thanks Mike. This one was not long abandoned - and was it ever a beautiful farmhouse in its day. Didn't dare go in, since the roof was caving in here and there.

Thanks Mike. I do like these small glimpses of nature in good detail. This was made with my new Fuji telephoto lens, hand held at ISO 3200. The lens has stability control, very much needed here.
Radu - thanks very much friend. I thought you might like this one . . .

Thanks Mike.
Always get a strong sense of the long gone family that lived in places like this. Time wears on us all . . .
Take care,
David
