  1. How about a miniature LCD in place of the pentaprism that not only displays the image from the sensor at 100% coverage, but includes camera settings and live histogram info? Only thing is that there will have to be a custom setting for selecting a sound like a traditional shutter...
  2. Hi Tommy, I can't say I'm a seasoned dSLR user--I've had my Rebel XT for less than a year. A couple of months

ago I was looking for an ultra-wide zoom and eventually got the Tokina 12-24 since I'm on a strict photography

budget. Not having the Canon 10-22 to compare it with I can't make any judgements, but I can say that I'm

thoroughly satisfied with the Tokina for all the aforementioned benefits. The one unexpectedly nice benefit I found is

that 24 mm is almost normal on a 1.6x body and complements my 28-135 well. Being lazy and having young kids

it's satisfying for me to be able to leave one lens on the camera while I'm indoors and another when out. I'd have to

agree with Captain Jack and also add that quality-wise you probably can't go wrong with any of the above lenses

and it just comes down to your budget and style of shooting.
