Took this grab shot while fishing(not catching) in Newport. The

sunset was spectacular as they often are, and when I saw the

converving scene of the fisherman, boat, and the sunset I though that

I had just enough to grab the viewers attention, while not too much

that would clutter the image.

Please let me know what you think.

I am just a hobbyist who decided to get a Blad first, rather than get

a nikon with 10 different lenses one by one and spend 5000 over the

period of several years. Instead I got a 501cm kit, 250 and 50 lens

for the same amount on ebay. I am learning constantly, and am still

fairly new at all this. I know i spent too much money, and it's not

the camera it's the person who makes a strong image, but as the Hassy

ad says, "it's the camera I'll never outgrow"...I intend to never

have to buy another camera again, and have been told if that's my

intention then I made a wise choice. Wheteher or not I have any

talent or vision is another question entirely, that's why I want

scathing remarks at my lack of talent so I can improve my technique,

and attempt to justify my spending so much dough on what is

essentially a toy for me.

Please comment on if this image works or not. I may be jaded because

I took the picture, but I think the way the trees stand out is

dramatic
