Dana Point Harbor at dawn

This was shot overlooking Dana Point Harbor at 5:00 AM. Exposure was about 5 sec. (used my watch) at f22. I like the chrome so much under the loupe because you can really make out the details of the people on the pier and the reflections of the boats. Should I have cropped though? I realize the image is overly busy, but am inclined to think that cropping would detract from the overall sense of place. Any ideas on cropping and overall composition would be appreciated
