Sensia still is the consumer film and costs about half of the price of all other Fuji films. The Sensia emulsion seems to have been changed twice. The first one was coded "RD" and the second "RA". Up to then Sensia was by far the best value for money slide film available.
The third reincarnation, still coded "RA", appeared in late 2002/early 2003 and was praised as a "new superfine grain" emulsion. In reality Sensia became virtually useless from this date onward. Harsh contrast, greenish colours - a nightmare. That was about the time they discontinued old Velvia because of lack of raw materials, and I suspect there was something alike with Sensia.
Personally I think Velvia 100F is the best allrounder for outdoor use now.
