The best pro camera at the time and arguably the most beautiful ever.. Loading and unloading the film is however vintage. My preference goes to the Nikon F2, which I regard as the ultimate. Looking at the repair manual is very revealing about the fantastic Nikon engineering of the time, if I remember well, there are 6 different kinds of lubricants applied in various places, this is telling.

One more remarkable shot, with exquisite light.
-
Very elegant combination of the background lines and tructure with the graceful model attitude.
-
Nice shot, dynamic and sensual at the same time.
-
Very sober, simple, elgant and inspiring.

Definitely looking as a sort of remarkable watercolor painting.

Very charming, due to the restricted color palette, the simplicity, casualness sort of of the setting.

Thanks. I could not imagine that two light sources were used. I had read many times that a single source was easier to handle and in most cases had a more natural look. I had tried to guess from the usual lightspots in the eyes, but could not really see much, and even more striking, there is absolutely no reflexion in the glasses. I have shared the link to the picture with several friends, either photographers or artists, and they are all astonished like me, as the shot reminds some of them from perfect Dutch paintings of the 17th century !!! Congrats to the top notch artist and model of the 21th century !

I am back petrified with admiration. What is the light source iif not a secret ? It seems to be soft and at the same time very precise... I am trying to play with studio equipment, but I have never been close to this rendition....

Extraordinary shot, with superb color range.

Superb light, perfect timing and composition. Fantastic mood.

I had missed the fact that it was a self portrait...Even more stunning. You could switch and make a new career as a model.... Take care....

Incredible portrait, the eyes seem more animated than on a live person... Very refiined expert lighting, and this probably explains the magic...

Daring and excitng composition with lovely gray tones and deep blacks. The contrasts between the body's curves and the straight lines of the deocr is stunning and welcome. Definitely an addition to the Art Nude category.
-
Beautiful use of the light with sensual shadows. The slight unbalance gives a welcome sense of motion and life.

Very stunning. Deserves an exhibition in an art gallery...
