Juan,
After clinging to my classic film cameras for so long and agonizing over NEX vs N1.... I dropped a wad of cash from selling a Mamiya 7 on a Nikon V1. For the first time I can capture photos of moving 2 year old grandaughter and beer drinking relatives. IQ may not be "all that" but results are awesome. And I don't have to lug a brick or spend a day monkeying around with film developement and scanning to do it.
Good luck with your agonizing. :) I feel your pain.

Gene, that is awesome!

Awesome! Seeing yours inspires me to get the one my father-in-law gave me out, put film in it, and see what happens. Thanks for winding me up!

Thanks for posting that! Can't make the show but ordered the book.

Congrats on the new/old camera, Marc!
I recently fixed up my dad's old C4; the same camera that took my baby pictures in the mid-50's. They are awesome little cameras and take surprisingly good photos!

Awesome to see. Thanks, Henrik!

Too bad there aren't more clues and more sharpness. There's too much left to the imagination. Not that that is a bad thing.

Illegal? I don't worry that much. If they want to lock me up for developing film, let them. Their loss because I'd quit paying taxes. I'd be the most PO'ed dude in that jail and would start a new life of crime. Outlaw photo hobbiest.

Good luck, Henrik. Takes a bit of courage to move forward. I tell myself that there's nothing to lose. If I don't do it myself, it won't get done.

FWIW, I did the Verichrome for 10 minutes in HC-110(H) with 4 inversions in ten seconds every minute. That was Gene M's suggestion (not the agitation part). Figured I couldn't do better than that. Thanks, Gene!

Now I want to find more cameras with film in them. It's an addiction, isn't it?

It is sad, isn't it?
The gentleman on the right appears to be on crutches. A story we will never know....

I was going to upload them, but this link is a lot easier to do. Hope it works.

My dear old mother likes to buy her aging adult kids gifts at garage sales. Last week she gave me an old Brownie she picked up. It had film in it. I asked for advice from Gene M, got the advice, and developed the roll.
Nothing spectacular. It isn't easy to describe how much I like seeing the found film others post, espcially Gene M's. I figured I should do the same. Won't even try for captions as good as Gene's.

I don't post often, mostly just lurk. Trying to figure out how to post a photo..... hmmm.....
I've got a cool panoramic... Looks like I'll have to put it on FlikR or something... too big to post here.

FWIW, on a trip from Chicago to San Diego and back last spring, HP5+ was in my checked baggage both ways and did not survive. It was pretty well fogged and useless.

I ordered one from Amazon in April, before the price went up. Today they cancelled my order. They said that they cancelled the order because they couldn't get Nikon to tell them when they'd get one. I was not happy.
But I dusted off the anger and found PC Nation had three of them in stock. So I bought one. It will cost two or three hundred US$ more that it would have. That's how it goes sometimes....
A couple of months from now, I'll have forgotten the financial pain. A good tool is a joy to have.
