As someone else who has chased these shots, it is extremly difficult to capture this, especially as clean and crisp as this. KUDOS!

I ask myself: apart from any preconceived ideas, apart from what I am told or what I presume about this picture, what do I see? Three chimney looking structures, not very well lit or defined, and a small tree. And the sky behind it all is dull. Judging this as an image on its own merit, not trying to interpret anything, I find it to be of little aesthetic value. I see much nicer images in the author's portfolio.

I couldn't have said it better...

My personal feeling on this shot. I hate that you can see her tattoo. It is distracting from her face which is the focus point. The blown, slanting highlight just the same but I noticed her tattoo first. Very pretty woman I do like the blue in the grass it pulls her eyes out. Thanks.

The exposed skin is great if that was the intention of the shot. It is a seductive way of being sexy with out looking trampy. I like the shot. I do not care for the slope cutting through her head. But that is being persnickety. Thanks

Great Idea. Here I lose the focal point. The water drops draw me up to away from the child. But it is interesting enough to grab my attention to it. Thanks.

This is on your way to JMU. Been there serveral times visiting my now future bride. That is one of the greatest things about photography....the ability to stimulate a connection.
