I did not use a Canon lens with this photo, my button, where you fill out the info, seems to be stuck at the moment. Cheers, Sondra

Sondra, I can not in good conscience give anything but 7's for this one, there is so much right and in my view, nothing of any consquence would make it better....Jim

Superb perspective and I like the tones. I seem to remember this scene from before but I have no problem with new versions of it. Just watch what is coming up behind you!

A very well-done version of an oft-repeated scene - I can't say enough good about this original shot. Nice work.

Good shot Sondra the IR gives the impression it's about to snow for the first time. And the tracks give great perspective to the whole scene. :) Rgds Nova ~

Beautiful shot Sondra, 7/7. But I am confused about the camera that is stated as used for this shot. The Sony DSC-F828 is (I think) a one piece, non interchangeable lens camera, 8mp, 7x optical zoom. It will use lens-converters, (telephoto and wide-angle). Holler at me if I`m wrong. BTW, I jusr saw the previews of the NEW sony, (replacement for the 828). They call it the DSC-R1, and it is a 10MP, 5X optical zoom, the previews look very interesting, and the picture quality is said to be the best yet for Sony, which means picture quality will be VERY good indeed!

Sondra, you really are making me homesick now! That's in Madison County. Been there many, many times but not in the last 25 years!

Were you able to visit the James Madison home? I'd love to see what you could do with that!

Wonderful shot. Thanks for the memories!

This is on your way to JMU. Been there serveral times visiting my now future bride. That is one of the greatest things about photography....the ability to stimulate a connection.
